City of Portsmouth
Our Relationship with the City
The Foundation values the relationship we have with the City of Portsmouth. We believe public-private partnerships can lead to improved services that matter to Seacoast residents. Over the years, the investments we have made in education, health care and social services are widespread across Seacoast nonprofits as well as municipal programs. In addition, the Community Campus serves over 15,000 individuals annually. Since 2014 the Campus has been home to the Portsmouth Senior Activity Center. And in 2018 we sold land to the City to expand their recycling center and create a state-of-the art sports and recreation complex adjacent to the main campus.
“The Foundation for Seacoast Health seeks to build partnerships. It seeks to be a resource for the community, and the city is one of its partners.”
Brinn Sullivan, Senior Services Supervisor for Portsmouth Senior Center
